Pinxton was the fringe box from Trent Power Box for the Pye Bridge - Kirkby Line and |
| controlled the access to Bentink Colliery. With the resignalling of the East Midlands the |
| Erewash Valley Line was resignalled in 2007 and Pinxton Signalbox and the connection |
| to Bentink Colliery was removed, the fringe box to the Derby Signalling Centre |
| becoming Kirkby Summit. |
