| "City of Truro" passes through Alfreton on its way to the Midland Railway Centre, Butterley. |
| The following day it was to make its final mainline run under its then current boiler certificate |
| from Derbyto Paddington. From Paddington it was transported by road to Truro for static |
| display outside Truro Cathedral before a three month tour of West Country preserved lines. |
